MODES OF TRANSMISSION :

1. From infected mother to baby during pregnancy.

2. Through infected blood transfusion.

3. Through the use of infected needle and syringe.

4. Through sexual contact.

It s a sexually transmitted disease. It gets transferred from patient to an healthy person in the following ways

1. By blood transfusion done through used or contaminated needles.
2. By shaving using used shaving razors or blades in the saloon shop.
3. During sexual intercourse between unknown person.

These are also the modes of transmission.
