HIV or Human Immuno deficiency Virus that causes a chronic disease i.e AIDS.

This virus may spread from a infected person to a normal person in the following ways :

  • Through blood transfusion from a AIDS patient to a normal person.
  • Sexual contact with the infected person.
  • Through infected syringes, common needles, razors etc.
  • As it is a virus so the disease can spread even in physical contact with the infected person also.
  • It can also spread from a infected mother to her healthy child i.e placenta(mother to foetus).
  • It can also transmit through vaginal fluid, brast milk etc.
