◇ Homework is task which is provided by teachers to students to be completed at their homes or outside the classes.

◇There are two effects of giving Homework:- Negative and positive

• Positive: One of the positive effect of Homework is that it helps students to enhance knowledge.

• Negative: Sometimes it burdens students and takes takes their time away from important elements of daily life.

How does homework take time away from important elements of daily life?

• It prevents students to be social as they start spending more times with their books only.

• It sometimes overburdens students that they even get frustrated on small things which kills their inner charm.

• They stop playing outdoor games and doing physical activities which affects their health.

• They stop spending time with their families and friends as they have to complete their homework.

• Sometimes because of Homework they do not get Indulged in co-curricular activities which are important for their overall development.

Everything has its good and bad effect.

Basically Homework is given to improve students' academic performances but the way in which homework is given to students is not appropriate as it is preventing students to do other activities mentioned above which are important.
