As humidity increases the rate of evaporation decreases

REASON -

when the air is humid it carries watervapour . so there is no space for more . therefore evaporation rate decreases

the amount of water vapour present in the atmosphere is called humidity. when the humidity is very high rate of evaporation is very low.this is because in atmosphere already there are too much water vapour. now nightmares fear has no capacity to take any water vapour.so the rate of evaporation is very low when the humidity in the atmosphere is very high.
