by bud formation commonly known as budding.A small bud rises from the parent hydra and then it grows and is detached from the parent body and grows on different place where it falls and forms the daughter hydra which further grows into fully grown hydra.

Hydra reproduce Asexually by the process of budding. As Hydra is a fresh water polyp. So only Budding take place only in polyp .
