we know that hydrotropism is the movement of plant parts in the direction where there is moisture or water
The part of plant growing towards the moisture is called positively hydrotrpic example:- roots
The part which grow away from it is called negatively hydrotropic
example:- shoots

the response of plants to water is known as hydrotropism
this can be shown by an activity
soak some seeds in water for two to three days
then dry them with the help of a cloth
and leave it for one night
next day u can see an white outlet in it
this out growth shows us the response of plants to water
