1. Fill the online form.
2. Make online payment of fees.
3. You will be allotted a study center
according to your preferences and
availability.
4. You will get your ID card and books by
post.
5. Attending classes is not compulsory.
Classes are held on weekends and
holidays.
6. For December/January session, you
have to submit the assignments by
30th September at your study centre.
You can prepare your assignments
using the material provided by IGNOU.
7. Then you have to fill the exam form for
the subjects you wish to write the
exams for. You can write any number
for that particular year. For Masters
degree, minimum period is 2 years and
maximum is five.

When a student is enrolled in IGNOU, the student chooses a Regional Centre and a Study Centre. The books will be received from the selected study centre. Any direct communication with the university is done through the study centre or in some occasions the students may have to visit the Regional Centre.
