How does increasing diameter effect resistance?​

Answer:

Resistance is inversely proportional to area of cross section. On increasing the diameter, area of cross section increases which result in decrease in resistance.

Resistance depends on three factors,i.e

1:-resistance is directly proportional to the length of the wire.If the length of the wire will increase its resistance also increase.

2:- reistance is inversely propotional to area of croos section.if the area of cross section increase its resistance will decrease

3:-it depends on matter.
