Industries are now on a rise as we are marching towards the future development we are also using water resources for our needs
1.producing cement in factories needs water and they are using river water as source of water
2. After producing finished goods the wastes are being dumped in various lakes and rivers this poses as a great threat to people who go to bathe in these waters because the water they are bathing from is mixed with various chemicals which leads to different types of diseases
3.Water acts as a staple for every single need from washing clothes to drinking it the factories are needed to be set up far in the vicinity but with connectivity for roads rails and other transport and facilities but not beside river bank itself it acts as a helper in factories but endangers others life also.

water is a renewable source but yet it is in limited quantity available to us.Due to day by day increase in population is is becoming difficult to quench everyone's increasing water demands.
industries are also increasing rapidly ..and they also need a large quantity of water and for this nearby water resources are being exploited .A huge amount of water is being disposed off as waste water from the industries. this creates wastage of water .Water is not only used in industries it is also used in irrigation in domestic works etc.. .in this way industries create pressure on existing water resources .
hope it helps..
