how does india have great physical variations?

1:- india has great physical variation because these variations have stemmed out of various geological periods and processes.
2:-the peninsular india was part of the Gondwana land split into various peices owing conventional currents , and made into indo australian plate move towards the north.this northward drafting resulted in this plate merging with the eurasian plate with large collision . as a result of this collision . the himalayas were formed .
3:- the formation of himalyas also resulted in the formation of large basin tht was filled with sediments brought down by several rivers, shaping the northan plains of india .
4:- several other processes including erosion ,deposition also influenced the relief of india and weathering . and chiseled it to its current form.
