How does India help the UN

The UN has tried helping india  solve the kashmir issue but inspite of all the efforts we know what ground realities are. However UN helped  India reduce violence on  women which is surely something the country was concerned for a very long period, it has also helped reduce poverty and fight many deadly diseases like HIV, MALARIA and POLIO(happy to know that India is now a polio-free nation. ;) ,helped in education and according to the best of my knowledge  India has made best progress in elementary education. 
Not very long time when UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has also offered help to rebuild disaster-hit Uttarakhand.

UN  has always tried helping nations in bringing all-round development. Well that is what it is meant for.Right? ;)

india has been part of UN for two Or Five years twice.a member nation has to be very helpful to maintain international peace. indian being a part of member nation can help by providing military to UN.
