Answer- Industrial waste mainly contains acids which are very toxic and harmful. When this waste is added to water by factories, this pollutes the water. So, we should not dispose the wastes in water as it can lead to depletion of water table and end the marine life.

Industrial waste when dumped in water it not only pollute the water by toxin and radioactive material but it also disturbs the ecosystem of the apuactic animal and plant. It deplets the oxygen level since pollution cause eutrophication.
