The scientific name of the common liver fluke is Fasciola hepatica.

It generally occurs throughout the world but is abundant particularly in the humid regions that has temperate climate.

It can be endemic in that region.

It is the damaging parasites of the grazing ruminants i.e. goats, cattle, sheep.

In the endemic regions, almost 100% of animals are prone to be infected.

It is very harmful and fatal for animals.

The problem can be solved by Livestock management.
