Firstly, you should not be disappointed. Every human is here for a special purpose and you should realise that you are special too. There is always a low that strikes everyone's life and you're just experiencing that. So you should be cheerful as the next stage will be a high in your life with a lot of new hopes and surprises. So be happy. Do not take these to your heart, try to face it with a smiling face. If people do not respond you properly, just take it positively and learn to "let go".
There are many people who find life difficult because there is no one to interact with them but still find hundred ways to be happy.
So now, you are in that phase of life where you have lots of options to learn new things and discover yourself. Live this moment !
Start showing interest in people. People only come to you when they know you would take interest in what ever they speak. Join some social organisations in your community or outside which is friendly so that you can interact with them and try striking few interesting conversations with them.
In the beginning you might not succeed in doing this but eventually you ll learn a lot and next time you ll be better in conversing and end up making some great friends !
Once you've made enough friends, try socialising with them and go out discovering different places with them. Invite them for lunch or dinner, or a movie and maintain your relationship with them.
I'm sure once you start doing this you'll never find time to think that what are the reasons people don't talk to you.
