In India, there are three organs of government as per Constitution. The Constitution of India came into force in the year 1950 January. It is the grundnorm which has not been imputed on us. Just we have adopted ourselves. Constitution confers all the rights.

Our Supreme Court is the guardian of the Constitution and thus ultimately the Supreme Court becomes custodian of all the citizens and even non citizens.

Answer:

Courts are often called the custodians of the Constitution because their rulings protect the rights and civil liberties of the citizens as guaranteed by the constitution. The Judiciary has Judicial Review Power.
