Kinetic energy = 0.5mv^2
Momentum = mv

From above two equations relation between Kinetic energy (K) and momentum (p) is
K = p^2 / (2m)

For an object of mass m
K ∝ p^2

So, if p is doubled K will be quadrupled.

K₂ = 4 K₁
