Hey,
When light travels from one medium to another then it changes its speed. If a ray of light travels from a denser to a rarer medium ,it bends towards the normal as it decreases in speed. On the other hand, if a ray of light travels from a rarer medium to a denser medium, it bends away from the normal as it increases in speed.
Hope this helps you buddy!!

Its path will change from the normal.
It will deviate from its path and bend away because light is travelling from denser medium to rarer medium.
When light travels from one medium to another it changes its direction because of refraction.
The direction only changes if the speed of light changes too.
Thus when light travels from a dense to a rare medium, it’s path will deviate from the normal path.
