As we go deeper into liquids the pressure also increases. For every 10 metres we go down the pressure increases by 1 atm

Liquid pressure varies with depth ;
because the pressure at the surface is due to only atmosphere, but as the depth increases the amount of water above it also increases so the pressure increases.
