Hye mate..
========

▪Earthworms are the members of the Phylum Annelida.

▪Earthworms can move on hard and slippery surfaces very easily. Earthworms move forward by repeated contraction and relaxations of their muscles in the body.

▪Different characteristics that help the earthworm to move are the following.

▪Body is divided into many segments called as metameres. Every body segment of the earthworm possesses setae which help in their movement .

▪Movement in earthworms is caused by longitudinal and circular muscles.

▪Body is covered with mucous, a slimy secretion which also helps in eacy movement of the body.

Hope it helps !!
