Najab by nature was quite shy. He was an introvert and didn't interact with anyone let alone girls. He met Fatimah who brought about certain changes in his introvert personality. He became brave enough to go to the lengths of crossing the border for her. He crossed the border which was dangerous for him, as the border was covered with soldiers who would usually kill suspects at sight. He gathered up enough courage and motivation to go to meet her across the border. He informed his family about this love affair, about how they met in Pakistan, and how he fell in love with the spice sellers daughter.
