Answer:

The strength of magnetic field at a point due to this current carrying conductor is directly proportional tothe current. It means the strength of magnetic field increases with increasein the value of current. The magnetic field produced by a given current in theconductor decreases as the distance from it increases.

Question :-

how does magnetic field due to current carrying conductor vary ?

Answer :-

1. Magnitude of the magnetic field produced at a given point increases with increase in the current passing through the wire. This results into increased number of concentric circles representing magnetic lines of force.

2. Magnetic field produced by constant current in the wire decreases as the distance from the wire Thus, the concentric circles increases. representing the magnetic lines of force are shown bigger and rarefied as the distance from the wire increases.
