Any chemical or natural substance which is added into soil to increase fertility is calledFertilizer. Fertilizer is a broader term. Urea, N:P:K, Micronutrients, Compost all are fertilizers.
Manure is a type of organic fertilizer, which is usually derived from animal dung. Eg. Cow dung manure, farmyard manure, Vermi-compost etc.
Fertilizers & manures are provided to all types of plants like agriculture crops, vegetable plants, flowering plants, gardens, lawn grass & so on. Manure is usually added in bulk quantity because it is a slow release fertilizer. In organic farming where no chemical fertilizers are used, only manure is given to plants.
