How does Margie feel about school towards the end of the story?
Answers
Margie felt that the computer teacher was boring; she disliked the mechanical teaching and learning. She also wondered how much fun it would be studying in a school. Studying in a fun way, with other children and that too from a human teacher. she liked the way students went to study in a single building and the way they used to enjoy the time playing and studying together .
Answer:
Margie at the end of the chapter "The Fun They Had" feels that the schools during the childhood of her grandfather's grandfather's childhood were exactly how she wanted them to be. The students of the same class learnt the same things allowing the kids to help each other. They came together in groups and gather in the classroom (or schoolroom as mentioned by Margie). The teacher wasn't a machine and instead was a man.Though, she didn't like the concept of books being printed on paper, she didn't let herself think that due to only this very point, she hated the schools that were there centuries ago.
Margie, in the end, thinks how great were the schools in the past. This explains that Margie was tired of Electronic Schools and education. She hated the mechanical teacher and hated the computer screen. She, to be short, hated almost everything about E-Learning and schools of her time.
