Answer:

martin luther king in his speech "i have a dream" on august 28th 1963 potrays the struggle of negro community struggling against racial discrimination .

in his speech king goes back to the past and emphasizes on the faliure of constitution to implement 'Emancipation of proclamation' which guranteed the negros rights, and equality and freedom ; Ending the long night of captivity to the Negros. It had given million of negro slaves the hope for justice but still after one hundred years, the life of negros is still crippled by the chains of discrimination and racism.

king says that the Emancipation of proclamation in the constitution has come to them as a bad cheque. A cheque which has come back marked "insufficient funds."

luther king still adresses his people not to be guilty for the wrongful deeds in search of justice. just because the whites hate them doesn't mean they should also be hatred and bitter to whites. he still motivates his people to continue their struggle until they get their dream of equality and freedom.
