Mendel took pea plants with contrasting traits such as a tall plant and short plant,he then crossbred the 2 plants. The F1 progeny so obtained were all tall he then self pollinated the F1 progeny then the F2 progeny so obtained was all not tell or somewhere short this indicated that both tallness and shortness trait was inherited in the F1 progeny but only that tallmess got expressed. This shows that anus is dominant and shortness is recessive.
