how does micro plastics effect agriculture?

As we know any type of plastic doesn't decay for long time period if time so the Micro plastics are the small particles of plastics which gets stuck to the soil particles which later on chokes the small pores and get mixed with soil which becomes difficult to breathe for plants.

We know that Waste water treatment plants receive large amounts of microplastics emitted from households, industry and surface run-off in urban areas. Most of these  microplastics  accumulate in the sewage. Therefore, it happens.
