Migration of people leads to a population change of a country.Some countries gain population through migration and some countries lose population through migration.
Immigrants r people who come into a new country.
Emigrants r people who leave a country.

Total population of a country is only affected by emigration.

Emigration is the Migration of people in or out of the country.

Immigration is the migration of people inside the country.

e.g. I went to settle from Delhi to Hydrabad, its does not change our country population.

But if Someone goes to USA population of our country decreases and its vice- versa also happens.
