In our stomach, the food is mixed with hydrochloric acid where it kills all the germs.

Then , the food is passed to small intestine , where the digestive juices from different parts are released and they act on the food. The food nutrients are then absorbed by villi and the nutrients are passed to blood.

The undigested food goes to large intestine where the water and salt are absorbed.

Now, the excreta is passed to anus and comes out at different intervals...
