How does mosquito act as a virus of malaria

Hey there!

Mosquitos feed on stagnant water. The virus responsible for malaria, plasmodium vivax gets on to the body of mosquito. When the mosquito bites the human, virus is transferred to human causing malaria.

Hence Mosquito acts a vector [ not virus ] for malaria.

A vector is something that transports the disease causing antigen
