It reminds us of the fact that no matter how much is put before us, we will always choose the ones we care for over all the wealth in the world. The boy wanted the sweets, balloons and all the other items the fair had to give, but when he got lost from his parents, he immediately lost interest in all of that and started wanting only for his parents. It truly show us that no matter how much you say you hate your parents, you will always love them.
