when the muscles do a lot of work, there is a lack of oxygen in muscle cells.

as a result of lack of oxygen in muscle cells , lactic acid builds up in muscles which causes them to fatigue

AFTER DOING VIGOROUS EXCERCISE WE FACE CRAMPS IN OUR MUSCLES, THIS IS BECAUSE OF LACTIC ACID FORMATION (LACK OF OXYGEN) . THE LACTIC ACID REDUCES THE pH AND MAKES IT ACIDIC WHICH MAKES US FEEL STINGING.

Muscle fatigue is the decline in ability of a muscle to generate force.

but, abnormal fatigue may be caused by barriers to or interference with the different stages of muscle contraction
