Soil erosion is a natural process effected by the dynamic mobility of erosive constituents of nature.
Examples are water, ice of glaciers, snowfall, wind velocity, trees and plants, animal and human interference and many more.
Accordingly, it is classified into :
1)Aquatic erosion,
2)glacial erosion,
3)snow erosion,
4)wind erosion,
5)zoogenic erosion, etc.
Soil erosion although a slow process that continues silently and without notice.
Sometimes, however, it is found to occur at a violent speed rate causing a serious loss of topsoil.
