How does nature play a big role in who we are

I am part of nature and Nature is part of me. We are One and You are part of Us, too.

We are all interrelated. When I care for my plants, they respond to the point where people wonder that seeds popped into the ground by me will almost always grow, and flourish.

I stood on the mountaintops when I could climb, way above the timberline in the High Sierra. And I was held there on a precipice, and gained the understanding, then and there, that I am part of the universe and the universe is part of me.

I wake up and go outside. I greet the day. The light. And I feel it all greeting me.

Life is a gift and nature is a gift. We are all so fortunate to appreciate it All. And, we must protect that which is vulnerable to ignorance, greed and ruin, like the redwood trees, the oceans, the running waters, the land. Like the creatures, like our children, like our babies, and like the least of us. So many gifts!

We are all interrelated. And nature sustains us, as we sustain nature.
