The uterus is a hard, muscular, pear-shaped structure. It is very small yet the fertilize eggs plant itself and grows here.

The uterus has a remarkable capacity to expand for the developing baby, pushing aside and squashing all the organs of a mothers abdomen.

In corner of the uterus are microscopic canal, through which the sperm reaches the Fallopian tube, where it encounters an unfertilized egg.

Once the egg has been fertilized, it passes through the canal in the opposite direction to reach he uterus.
