How does nature prevent food from getting into trachea?

Hey mate here is the answer,

At the starting of trachea a cover is present which is called epiglottis which prevent the food entering the trachea.

It is because when we swallow food there is epiglottis in our mouth at starting of respiratory system. When we swallow food, our epiglottis closes and prevents food from going into our trachea
