Non-green plants follow the heterotrophic mode of nutrition. The mode of nutrition in which an organism depends on other living organisms for nutrition is called heterotrophic nutrition. Some examples of plants that follow heterotrophic nutrition are cuscuta, venus flytrap, etc.
