Ocean water is one of the most and the only largest source of water which is ever available in the Surface of the earth.

Ocean water reaches the ponds and the lakes by construction of various canals and passage which leads to the connection which results the source of water in the ocean.

Another source of water is the rain. From the ocean a lot of water is evaporated and then it forms the cloud which reaches the surface of the earth and gets deposited in the ocean via the rainfall.
