Our heart pumps the blood which makes it reach all parts of the body. It's a very important organ. Due to this pumping of blood, nutrients in the blood, gases like CO2 and O2, mixed in haemoglobin to form oxyhaemoglobin, reach all the parts of our body. This transport of blood is very beneficial to us. The various clotting factors present in blood work along with white blood cells to fight diseases and clot wounds.
Hence, heart is an important organ to us.
