How does over exploitation of natural resources affect our environment?

Over exploitation of natural resources can lead to many problems . So it is high time that every individual takes up the responsibility to save the natural resources.An individual can help in saving energy in following way:1. using public transport as mode of transportation.2. can do car pooling 3. switching off lights and fans/ ac, and other electronic appliances when not in use.4. should close taps and should prevent water leakage5. should reuse water as muchas possible, like water which isnot fit for drinking can be used for watering plants, washing cars etc.6. should not cut trees , infact everyone should atleast plant one tree and should adopt it and take care of it.
