☸ when we inhale air, oxygen reaches the alveoli in lungs, which is surrounded by thin capillaries carry blood in them. The oxygen diffuses from the alveolar walls to the blood in capillaries. This blood travels through the body .Hemoglobin binds with oxygen and carries it along with blood carbon dioxide is produced as a waste product in respiration in the cells of tissues. This carbon dioxide is transported in dissolved form in the blood, which carries it back to the lungs , where it is diffuses into and alveoli and then to trachea and finally from nose to out of the body into a air. ☸
