how does oxygen level decrease when suffering from fever ?​

it decreases by busting of the red blood cells due to some conditions it may be malaria which can cause fevers where the plasmodium attacks the red blood cells and causes them to burst hence oxygen level decreases because red blood cells burst yet they are necessary in transporting oxygen.
