Hello there,
Ozone gas has a pungent smell and causes luster on silver metal. Its chemical formula is O3. It tends to oxidize certain metals such as gold ,platinum and indium etc. The climatic change causes the change in the composition and intensity of the ozone gas changes. They react with the oxides of the silver metal and form corrosion due to the effects of wind and dampness in it.
