Paramecium feeds on microorganisms like bacteria etc. To gather food paramecium make movements like cilia to sweep pray organisms along with some water through the oral groove and inside ghe mouth opening. the food passes through the cell mouth into the gullet.

Hydra capture their food by paralzing and killing the food organisms by means of nematocysts which are discharged into the prey. the prey is bought to the mouth by the tentacles a response that is induced glutaththione the organism is then taken through the mouth which is star shaped or circular
