Answer:
plastic bag
Whether you live in an urban megacity or rural farmland, you surely see plastic bags blowing around anytime you leave the house.
Some blow across roads like post-apocalyptic tumbleweed, while others become snagged in the branches of street trees. Still others end up floating through our creeks and rivers until they find their way to the sea.
But while these plastic bags are certainly not pretty, they actually cause real, tangible harm to the greater environment.
Plastic bags tend to disrupt the environment in a serious way.
They get into soil and slowly release toxic chemicals. They eventually break down into the soil, with the unfortunate result being that animals eat them and often choke and die.
Plastic
Use of Polythenes has increased so much in our living. There are bad as well as good effects of polythene. They are cheap and prevents contamination, leak proof, hence they are found to be effective for daily uses of storing water, food, etc.
if we throw plastic, small tiny creatures in nature like bacteria can’t eat them up or break them, it makes the soil less fertile. similarly if we throw plastic in water bodies, it gets stuck in water animal's tummy and makes them sick. because the bacteria in their stomach cannot break the plastic up into smaller pieces.
Plastic is very harmful for our environment as it is a bio - degradable thing, The process required to recycle plastic is very expensive that's why it is not being practiced in most parts of the world.
It does not melt down easily and it’s reuse for a long time is not practical. Consequently, they end up polluting the environment.
