The climate and associated weather conditions in India governed by the pressure and winds by different atmospheric conditions. These atmospheric conditions are as follows:

• The Western cyclonic disturbances and tropical cyclones
• Pressure and surface winds.

These winds have origin from the subtropical high pressure belt of the northern hemisphere.
