how does pressure get affected if area is doubled keeping the force constant

Thus P(pressure) is inversely proportional to A(area) provided theforce applied is constant. Thus if we double the area of contact whilekeeping the force constant, then according to the formula the pressureshould be halved. ... For the sameforce ,if the area is doubled , pressurebecomes half .
