how does pressure help in the liquefication of gas?

when u lowers the temperature it condensate and to liquify it a high amount of pressure needed . Applying pressure give it a perfect shape and helps in liquefication .

when pressure is applied on gases they come closer to each other thus by taking the state of liquid
