Hi there,
If there will be increase in population then people have struggle for getting jobs or works as the jobs and works will remains same So only limited number of people can do that job thus we can say increase in population can cause employment..
In another we can say that govt. provide job opportunities according to their qualifications if there will be less qualified then it only be helpful to those people only hence remains will stay unemployed..

HI FRIEND

POPULATION does cause unemployment,
It is because there is only a certain amount of jobs in a city ,which means that the more people there is in a particular city , the less job opportunities are available.

Unemployment can be caused by many things.

Loss of employment can come from layoffs due to down sizing, or tough competition for job openings, as well as a candidate being overqualified.

It cause less income for the family or even just no income at all.

This leads to an unemployed joining in illegal activities such as drugs.
