first of all diffusion is the moment of gas or liquid particles from a region of higher concentration to lower concentration .

if liquid is more denser rate of diffusion would be slower example honey and mercury being more dense

if liquid is not denser diffusion will be slower for example water

increase in temperature increases diffusion ...on increasing temperature particles of liquid surface gets excited and moves a region of lower concentration
