amoeba has binary fission. as we knw in binary fission 1 parent gets splits into 2 daughter cells. there is no formation of cyst.

paramecium has multiple fission. in multiple fission one parent splits into multiple daughter cells. cyst formation takes place.

hope it helps!!!
